Trusting the Infallible Word of God

Hebrews 11 is one of the greatest chapters in Scripture to teach us to walk by faith. In this chapter we learn from Abraham that life is like a classroom: the "classroom of faith." We don't just wake up one day and suddenly trust God with no strings attached-faith is a journey. God orchestrates our lives through our circumstances where we must learn several things. First of all, as we said in our last article, in the classroom of Faith, we must learn to trust the Impeccable Character of God. God is good all the time because that's His nature, no matter how difficult the situation might be in life.

But, if must also learn in this classroom that if we are going to walk by faith, we absolutely must learn to trust the infallible Word of God. Hebrews 11:17-19 says, "By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises was offering up his only begotten son; it was he to whom it was said, ‘In Isaac your descendants shall be called.' He considered that God is able to raise people even from the dead, from which he also received him back as a type."
